These terms govern your use of OPJAW ("the Service"), operated by OPJAW LLC at opjaw.com. By uploading a file or completing a purchase, you accept these terms in full.
OPJAW is a deterministic geometry engine. It reads customer-provided STEP files, extracts bounding-box dimensions and surface geometry, and outputs CNC workholding designs (fixture plates, soft jaws, zero-point clamping plates) as STEP files. The generation pipeline is procedural code — no neural networks, no probabilistic inference. Same input with same parameters produces the same output.
The Service outputs geometry files. It does not perform structural analysis, material validation, toolpath verification, or safety certification of any kind.
You are a qualified manufacturing professional. You accept sole responsibility for validating all generated output before physical use. This includes, without limitation: material selection, dimensional verification, clamping force adequacy, toolpath compatibility, machine capability, and operator safety.
The Service has no knowledge of your machining environment, cutting parameters, material properties, or end-use conditions. Output metadata (material suggestions, workholding force values, setup notes) is advisory only — not a validated engineering specification for your application.
Geometric verification performed by the Service (bounding box, volume, and face count checks) confirms dimensional consistency of the STEP file. It does not constitute fitness-for-purpose validation, structural analysis, or safety certification.
You own everything you upload. You own everything generated from your uploads. OPJAW claims no rights to your files or output.
You grant OPJAW a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to process your uploaded file solely for the purpose of generating the requested output. This license terminates when processing completes. No residual rights are retained.
OPJAW retains all rights to the generation algorithms, source code, and platform infrastructure.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. OPJAW DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. OPJAW DOES NOT WARRANT THAT GENERATED OUTPUT IS SUITABLE FOR ANY SPECIFIC MACHINING OPERATION, MATERIAL, MACHINE TOOL, CLAMPING CONFIGURATION, OR END-USE APPLICATION. YOU ASSUME ALL RISK ASSOCIATED WITH THE PHYSICAL MANUFACTURE AND USE OF ANY GEOMETRY GENERATED BY THE SERVICE.
OPJAW's total aggregate liability arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific transaction giving rise to the claim.
In no event shall OPJAW be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation: machine damage, material loss, workpiece damage, tool breakage, personal injury, lost profits, business interruption, loss of data, or cost of procurement of substitute goods — regardless of the theory of liability and even if OPJAW has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless OPJAW from any third-party claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your physical manufacture, use, or deployment of output generated by the Service; (b) your violation of these terms; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
OPJAW agrees to indemnify you against third-party claims that the Service platform code (not the output) infringes such third party's intellectual property rights.
Your STEP files are processed in temporary storage and deleted after generation completes. OPJAW does not retain, store, or archive your uploaded files or generated output.
Account and billing data (name, email, payment details) is processed by Stripe under the Stripe Services Agreement. OPJAW stores only what is necessary to associate a transaction with a download.
OPJAW does not use your files or data to train models, develop competing products, or share with third parties. There is nothing to train — the generation pipeline is deterministic code.
Pricing is per use at checkout. No subscriptions, no recurring charges, no auto-renewal. You pay for each generation at the price displayed before purchase.
All generated output is a digital deliverable. Refunds are issued at OPJAW's sole discretion. You are responsible for all applicable taxes.

You represent and warrant that you will not upload STEP files containing technical data controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or equivalent export control laws of any jurisdiction. OPJAW does not screen uploads for controlled content. Compliance with export control laws is your sole responsibility.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any dispute arising from or related to these terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall be individual only — you waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration. Claims under $10,000 USD may be brought in small claims court instead of arbitration, at either party's election.
OPJAW may modify these terms at any time. Updated terms are effective upon posting to this page. Material changes will be communicated via the email associated with your account at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
